How Much Do I Love You

A question I often ask my kiddos is "Do you know how much I love you?"  The other day, my 6 year old did something so incredibly "her," that I just grinned, leaned over, and hugged her.  As I pulled back from the hug, I looked at her and said, "Do you know how much I love you?"  Her response floored me. 

"Mommy, you ask me that all the time!" 

"I know, A, I know.  I just want to make sure you know how very special you are." 

"Well, when you don't know the right words to tell someone how much you love them?  You should just take a picture.  Right then.  So that you will always have that memory to smile at.  That's the moment that shows love." 

Yep, pretty sure she nailed it.
